Record, play, bring out all the colours in your music!

Create a folder for the app and unzip the app into it. When recording, you will find the resultant file as "Out.wav" or "Out.mp3" in your folder. Rename it before recording another so it doesn't get overwritten.

Record to .wav or .mp3 or load and play your favourite .wav or .mp3 tracks or playlists.

Click on the trackbar to seek to position (or click on right end of same to skip).

Adjust the playback volume (click on multi-coloured bar upper right).

Loop play, resize it to suit your preference.

Plays 16 bit audio files, either Window's pcm (.wav) or mp3s, of any bitrate, mono or stereo.
Works with sound cards of all bit depths: 16, 24, or 32 bits and 32 bit float.
However, it will only work with sound cards that have an ASIO driver. (Don't have ASIO? Then install ASIO4ALL.)
It will only work with Windows (though it seems to work fine under Ubuntu Linux w/Wine & Jack).
The application generates a little debug file that provides information about the sound card and error reports.
